Together with a culture that encourages you to be completely yourself and to care about the welfare of others. So, join Bupa and enjoy a truly rewarding career, as part of our care home family.

What you’ll do

Looking after our care home residents, you’ll assist with their day to day routine - supporting and encouraging them to be independent. Always caring with dignity and respect, whilst building strong and lasting relationships.

What we look for

Experience isn’t essential. We look for people who enjoy making a real and positive difference to our residents’ lives. Who also have the strength to thrive in a role that can at times be both physically and emotionally challenging.

Working hours

Our shifts are usually 12 hours long, some homes can offer a 6-hour shift which would start at either 8am or 2pm but this is dependent on the home.

Day shifts start between 7am and 8am | Night shifts start between 7pm and 8pm.

What’s in it for you?

The work will be challenging. But also, incredibly rewarding. And, alongside the personal rewards you’ll get from knowing you’re making a real difference to someone’s life, you’ll receive some tangible benefits from Bupa too. These include:

Comprehensive induction, on-going training and development, access to internal apprenticeship schemes

Health & wellbeing tools; including Be Me App, Healthy Minds & discounted health assessments

28 days holiday (for full-time employees)

Access to Wagestream - an app-based service that offers you the choice to be in control of when you access your earnings
